The team at PACK & SEND Auburn has been sending quartz stone slabs internationally for a customer for the past 12 years.
These quartz stone surfaces are used for kitchen bench tops and are incredibly heavy... it's no surprise that there weren't many courier companies up for the task!
In addition to their exceptional weight, these stone slabs must also travel upright, posing an additional challenge. This however didn't faze the team at PACK & SEND Auburn... Mohammed immediately designed and commissioned the making of a custom A-Frame case for this job!
Last week, the team at PACK & SEND Auburn sent 10 stone slabs by sea to the door in Xinyang, China! They weighed 2,742kg and were 9.24 cubic metres in volume.
